LogicTM
Rada Sense incorporates the unique T-LogicTM digital intelligence system, a first-of-its kind system for mixing valve technology.
T-LogicTM is the command centre for Rada Sense, communicating frequently with each component to make sure they are working and performing properly. T-LogicTM also monitors the performance of the digital mixing valve, and controls the activation and automatic shut-off of water flow.
Temperature Control
Rada Sense is factory set to deliver water at a default temperature of 38°C, however the end user can adjust the temperature within a range of 30-41°C with the option of selecting full cold. Maintenance staff are able to adjust these programmed temperatures. Inbuilt twin thermistors are designed to ensure accurate temperature control, enabling a fast response to maintain the set temperature or when users wish to adjust the water temperature.
Safety Checks
The twin thermistors are also designed to ensure that that water is delivered at safe temperatures and to detect any unusual rises in temperature. They transmit data via the T-LogicTM system to monitor and perform eight safety checks 40 times per second.
T-LogicTM is designed to allow the digital mixing valve (DMV) to automatically compensate for any temperature or pressure variation with the inlet water supply. When the thermistors detect any warm water temperature variations the system makes the necessary adjustment to maintain the set warm water temperature within the allowable tolerance of the temperature setting.
Information Management
T-LogicTM is a programmable tool, also recording information for maintenance personnel to better understand and adjust their needs for controlling warm water temperatures to the showers and basins.
As with any system, knowing how your DMV is performing and how people are using it is important for ongoing management. Rada Sense provides your facility manager with information about performance, fault-diagnosis, system data and usage data. Thermal disinfection data can be downloaded to a PDA for analysis and as a record to confirm successful completion of the disinfection above a set temperature for a designated time.
